For one to see the endangered mountain gorillas in Uganda, it is a requirement to hold a gorilla permit. Gorilla permits are limited in number due to that only 8 people are allowed to visit a habituated gorilla family.
Booking Procedure:
For you to track gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will need to book for a gorilla permit at Uganda Wildlife Headquarters in Kampala or through a local tour operator. A gorilla permit cost US$700 during peak season and US$450 during the discounted low season (April, May & November).
